This was to be an asymmetrical design (see The Pit and Never Ending Story for other examples), which simply means the screen is off center to the room’s widest dimension. The room’s shape gave us the opportunity for a “library nook” and an unprecedented 4 tiers of seating in a Theater this size. Non-uniform angles are generally good for acoustics.
