found a wall “board and batten” pattern she really liked in a magazine.
We happily duplicated it throughout the Home Theater and game room. The wainscoting
is capped with a cherry rail routed for dish displays etc. Note the rope
light accent on this area of wall (screen left).
Because
we had to build out our walls to accommodate ductwork, we had an excellent design
opportunity to incorporate five hidden cabinets. Here are three software cabinets
in the screen left wall.
The
other two cabinets are to the right of the screen. There is one software cabinet
and a cabinet for the audio video gear, which is controlled through a hardwired
infrared system.
