The view from the back. This shows the front, excavated section that has the sofa and love seat, seating five comfortably. The middle section is for the two oversized swivel/recliners and is the “entrance” section. You can also catch a hint of the back section and the custom-built Oak bar which seats four. On the wall to the right is visible the two Lutron Graphic eyes that control the twelve lighting loads capable of eight independent scenes to insure the right lighting mood for all occasions. All equipment and lighting is controlled by an iPronto touchpad. Our custom programming assures simple “one-touch” operation

You enter “The PIT” into the middle section, which has the two recliner seats and is our second tier of seating. Critical to our design was the 7’x 12’ “pocket" cut of the ceiling in this entrance area. Thanks to the work of our design/engineer team we were able to safely eliminate the ceiling joists and replace them with a designed steel substitute, picking up a full eight inches of ceiling height. The pocket is highlighted with lighting hidden by crown molding. The sides are painted with gold leaf and the ceiling is “sponged” in a burgundy paint combination. Opposite the entrance is a custom-built tiger oak “software" cabinet capable of holding over 500 DVD’s and 300 CD’s.
