They say, “Love is lovelier the second time around.” While our expertise does not lie in love, we can wholeheartedly say, that this phrase surely applies to this client regarding Home Theater. The following Home Theater is the second one we did for Derl and Diane. The first we called “Tarzan’s Lair” because their toddler son commandeered the Home Theater from the start to watch the Tarzan movie over and over again.

A long time client, Derl contacted us about doing some HDTV satellite work for his new 65” Phillips TV. Derl has always been a great A/V enthusiast and when we arrived we found some nice audio equipment to complement his Phillips TV. He was not happy with the systems performance or set-up. We convinced Derl and Diane to visit our showroom and experience “Real Home Theater.” To make a long story short, they traded in their Phillips for a Runco HDTV projector and a Steward 96”x54” screen.

Here’s “Tarzan’s Lair.” Because this was a temporary set-up with a move planned in the near future, we did some painting, lighting work, system integration and built in the existing cabinetry (on the left). We also built a front stage for the speakers.
