This “in progress” pictures, from inside the room, shows the open arch which was replaced by a solid door.

This project presented many challenges and unique opportunities to test our design and creative abilities. The client, after studying our work, desired features incorporated into their project from other client’s projects. Additionally the six-member family, most of whom have black belts in the martial arts, loves China (and Panda’s!), the outdoors, and inundated us with beautiful photos of the Chinese countryside to inspire us in designing this unique theater.
Our first challenge in this project was where to put it!  No unused space was available so we converted their finished living room, with three windows, into this “fantasy home theater.”
